Fishing made easy to fight hardcore poverty - but what about the fish?

The government wants to assist poor fishermen improve their lifelihood by introducing high-tech equipment to track schools of fish. Next step would be to go out and fish the fish.

I understand the government's intention to raise those fishers affected by poverty out of poverty.

So far so good, but what choice do the fish have? There is no place to hide for them?

In times when the seas is in danger of getting overfished already, wouldn't this method endanger the remaining fish schools?

I appreciate the concern of the government for the hardcore and the intention is good. The question is, wouldn't there be a better method to assist the hardcore poor?

It is my opinion that the impact on the ecology should be studied as well to ensure that future generations still can enjoy the fruits from the sea.
