Fourth world mentality and tollroad price increase

Okay, it is tough to adjust to increasing costs in the Klang Valley and beyond. For many families, cost increases is an issue that throws them back, again and again. How must they feel when they see the glamour of the city, the big cars rolling by, and their children ask them for a new toy and they cannot afford it. It is bad for many, for sure, and the income gap is widing.

However, there is something that I cannot understand!!

I talked to one of the toll road operators today, and they told me a story that happened after the recent road hikes. Apparently, some drivers, in their rage over the tollroad increase, have spit at those employees in the booth that are collecting the money.

I wonder why? I mean, sorry, but aren't those victims as well? They won't earn much, they don't have the nicest and most exciting job on the planet, and I always wonder how they feel sitting there, in their booth, seeing the cars passing by, getting intoxicated by pollution, it is hot and dirty.

The employees were shocked, even traumatised, after such mistreat. Look, they are innocent, but what will they feel, after being spit at? I really wonder about that kind of fourth world mentality! And with this, I might actually insult those that live in the fourth world.
