NLP Training in January 2007: Brochures are ready

This last week was an up and down to complete the brochure for the NLP certification training in January 2007.

Here it is - the link 2007 to the NLP Certification Brochure. It is a low resolution brochure for those that are interested in downloading it (it still takes a while to download, so have patience). Feel free to send me comments, and sign up to the training, if you are really interested in making 2007 a year that counts!!

A lot of last minute changes, after endless discussions on how to structure the brochure, how to formulate the individual paragraphs, sentences, and even the words.

I realised that just to sell NLP would mean that I exclude those that don't actually know what NLP is. Heck, NLP is great but the words that the founders, Richard Bandler, John Grinder, and Robert Dilts used, are really not the most user friendly ones. There now is also NLP-NS (which stands for neuro-semantics), and they try to rename a lot of the different words. It might make it easier, in the end, but since 99% of all NLP books are written in "traditional NLP lingo", I am not sure if this is really the way to go. I suspect, however, that Michael Hall (the one who came up with NLP-NS) is going for an own branding exercise, which is fine by me.

Anyway, I learnt that it really is important to have more than one person read what has been written by the original writer, to be able to clear up minor confusions. I also learnt that it is good if someone from the outside is a proof reader, to just check on the understanding of those that have no clear idea whatsoever about this kind of brainy material, hehe.

And the I learnt that it really makes sense to read, and re-read, every single word in the end, because even after reading the stuff 500 times, there is always the chance that there is a "t" without the "cross" and the sentence without the fullstop.

It is fun to be high-level in ones thinking, and extremely useful to be able to be very specific.

Please send me a mail to NLP AT AsiaMindDynamics.com if you are interested to come. I am looking forward to seeing you in the training.
