A journey ends
I am going to sign the contract, and work will start on Monday next week. My time of unemployment comes to an end.
Today, I was in 1U to pick up my kid and I had a sinking feeling - was it the right decision to commit to a new job? I believe, going it all alone was a great idea. I would be successful, because I have so much to give. But then, there is so much to learn still. And I will take the opportunity to run the department that I am going to head as my own small business. This is my testbed. I will succeed and come out stronger.
Let me start a new section, let me share it with you. I will share my stories, in as much that I am not offending confidentiality, and as much as I can find time to blog. I am also searching for advice from you. Thus, feel free to give me your point of view, when I describe a challenged.
I am all ears!!

Changes are just paths in life you have to walk past.Everyone has to go through changes.
It is not the beginning or ending point that matters.
I think it's the journey that matters the most.

Hi, congrats and all the best in this new adventure. I believe, no matter what happens, how things turn out depends on our actions and choices. I'm in between pastures too at the moment. There some uncertainties, but I guess they'll settle in time. Good luck :)

I know it sounds strange coming from me - especially since you have more work experience than I do.
But change can sometimes be good - it can give you a new outlook on life, bring you closer to your family, and introduce you to new people/friends/colleagues.
Of course it'll be scary - starting from scratch again. But it's part and puzzle of 'growing up' and of life.
Do keep us informed about how things are going! Congratulations once again!
ps: We should meet up for coffee like the last time. :lol:
